Spring gallery tour hosted by Broad Ripple Village Association | IndyStar.com | The Indianapolis Star

On May 8, the Broad Ripple Village Association will host its annual Spring Gallery Tour. Galleries and shops with special exhibits will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. and offer free refreshments. Locations range from the Indianapolis Art Center on the north to Fine Estate Art Rugs on the south.

A free shuttle will provide transportation to exhibits at approximately 18 locations. Work shown will include everything from handmade jewelry and clothing to paintings, sculpture, glass and ceramics. Many of the artists will be onsite to meet the tour goers.

Special ceramic bowls and trivets made by the VSA Urban Artisans will be available in designated locations; proceeds of their sales go to support VSA adult programs.

A brochure with map will be available in all participating shops and galleries. The event sponsor is the Green Broad Ripple Restaurant Group. For further information, call 317-251-2782.
